What it does
Save from any link
Paste a recipe URL and Tasteful extracts the ingredients, steps, timings, and nutrition — including from sites that don’t publish clean structured data.
Import from a photo
Photograph a cookbook page, an index card, or a screenshot, and Tasteful reads the recipe right off it.
Cook Mode
Step-by-step cooking with the screen awake. Ask a question mid-step — “what can I use instead of buttermilk?” — and pick up exactly where you left off.
Your pantry, tracked
Keep track of what you have and when it expires, then ask what you can make from it tonight.
A grocery list that fills itself
Build the list from the recipes you’ve planned, or scan a handwritten list or a receipt to add everything at once. Ask substitution questions while you’re standing in the aisle.
Meal planning without the spreadsheet
Lay out the week across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and ask for variety suggestions drawn from your own saved recipes.
Search the way you’d say it
“Something quick with chicken and no dairy.” Tasteful searches your collection by meaning, not just by keyword.
Nutrition, honestly labelled
Real nutrition data when the source publishes it, careful estimates when it doesn’t — and the estimates are always marked as estimates.

No account, no sign-up. Your collection lives on your phone and syncs privately through your own iCloud.
Try the beta
Tasteful is in beta on TestFlight for iPhone and iPad. It’s stable enough to cook from every day, and your feedback goes straight to the person building it.
Tasteful is free while it’s in beta. Once it leaves TestFlight, the AI-assisted features — importing, the assistants, search, and nutrition estimates — become an optional subscription. Everything else stays included.
